The Kaunas String Quartet and soloist Rita Preikšaitė present works in the Pažaislis Music Festival program that explore themes of spirituality and inner reflection. The program brings together music from different eras—from Baroque to contemporary compositions, including works by Kaunas-based artists, all united by a common thematic thread.

This concert will also feature a premiere initiated by the Pažaislis Festival—the work “Requiescat in pace” for voice and string quartet by cellist and composer Kasparas Šerpyčius. This five-part composition is characterized by a dramatically cohesive musical narrative that intertwines diverse sources of inspiration with the composer’s personal creative reflection.
