This year, the Pažaislis Music Festival will host its first-ever event on the historic Hill of Owls. At 18:30, guests are invited to enjoy a cozy picnic hosted by “Vieno prancūzo sandėliukas” and “La Petite Patisserie”, followed by an acoustic concert at 20:00 by singer Jurga Šeduikytė.
About the concert:
At 20:00, Jurga’s voice will fill the hilltop and create an atmosphere of warmth, dreams, and intimate conversations. A major figure in Lithuanian music for over two decades, Jurga has also made her mark in theatre, film, and literature. Yet she continues her journey—seeking dreams and sharing her discoveries with others.
In Dreams Workshop, Jurga partners with pianist Kęstutis Pavalkis, a respected educator in classical, jazz, and improvisational music, for a unique, experience-based concert. According to Jurga, this performance follows a carefully curated musical and lyrical flow that fosters a feeling of belonging—where “everyone fits and there are no mistakes.”
Together, Jurga and Kęstutis offer music that leads listeners to reconnect with their inner selves. Through sound, they evoke childhood memories, mindful presence, and dreams—transforming fears and doubts into a source of strength and inspiration. Jurga describes this type of concert as an uplifting experience that gently carries the audience to a place they long to be.
About the picnic:
Known for their legendary gatherings, the team behind the picnic promises an experience that’s not just for foodies, but also for those who enjoy thoughtful stories and history. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and anything that might make their picnic spot even more comfortable. During the picnic, local guide Laimonas, creator of Kauno detalės, will share fascinating stories about Hill of Owls and its premises, and the creative personalities who once lived and worked creatively there.
