This exceptional concert will be performed by a trio of renowned musicians: the most famous Lithuanian pianist Petras Geniušas, the world-renowned cellist David Geringas, and violinist Dalia Kuznecovaitė, who has performed on the biggest stages in Europe, Asia and America. Their programme reflects the finest aspects of the piano trio’s repertoire. The trio Loviisa by the Finnish genius Jean Sibelius is dedicated to the place where the composer’s aunt lived. It is a work by a very young composer, which is not often heard in our concert halls. The concert programme will also include Piano Trio N 1 by the Austrian Romantic genius Franz Schubert and Anatolijus Šenderovas Song and Dance is a version for piano trio of Song of David, dedicated to David Geringas. This masterfully of this piece combines contrasts and theatrical elements.
